International Night - June 5th
The 26th Annual International Night is fast approaching! After the wonderful student's performance, interactive cultural 'exhibits' will open.
Here are some ideas for exhibits that we have in mind:
- At the Chinese exhibit you could try your hand at writing a famous Chinese saying and/or making a Chinese Zodiac.
- How about learning to dance the Salsa or Mamba with numbered foot prints on the ground. When the 'dance instructor' starts, away you go! Of course, we are looking for this dance instructor!
- We would love to have other dances performed as a lesson or just as a show.
- At the Indian exhibit, get an authentic Henna tattoo or try on a Sari.
- "Travel" to the Japanese exhibit and try on a Kimono. (Hint, hint, we need to borrow them!)
These are just some ideas, but we are sure that with the help of Wiley families and their circle of friends, there can be much more available. With this early announcement, there is plenty of time to practice or put an 'exhibit' together.
Also, the interactive 'exhibit' stations will be rotating around the Wiley campus every 20 minutes. This will allow exhibitors to also get in on the fun and have a chance to mingle and try their hand at the 'exhibits'. Don't miss out on the fun!
